About WhutNext
What is WhutNext?
Each topic is a short series of levels. Watch or read what's in the center, give your gut reaction, and the next level adds a new wrinkle. There are no wrong answers.
Where's the call to action?
Weighing in is the action. Your response joins everyone else's to create open data that policy makers and business leaders can use to respond to our collective voice. The more people weigh in, the clearer that voice gets.

How do I weigh in?
Tap one of the four buttons around the center:
- Up — I Get It
- Down — I Don't Get It
- Left — Not Sure
- Right — OK / Skip
Some levels show only Begin, or only up and down.
Can I swipe instead of tap?
Not on the website. Here you tap the buttons. Swiping is how you weigh in on the WhutNext app.
I tapped by mistake. Can I go back?
Yes. Tap the level title above the compass to open the Table of Contents, then choose the level you want to go back to.
Finding your way around
How do I pick a different topic?
Tap the topic name at the top left of the screen (next to "You are here") and choose a new one.
How do I jump to a certain level?
Tap the level title above the compass to open the Table of Contents, then choose a level. You can jump to any level you've unlocked.
Account, results and data
Do I need an account?
No. You can start right away as a guest. Tap Save Progress / Sign In at the top of the screen and sign in with Google, email, or your phone number if you want to keep your progress across devices.
Where can I see results?
On the Dashboard. You can also open it from the menu.
Are my responses private?
Yes. Your individual responses stay private. Only combined, anonymous results are shown publicly. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How is my data used?
Your responses are combined with everyone else's and shown anonymously on the Dashboard. Community Insights and the Consensus Lab show where people are divided, where they find common ground, and how views shift level by level. If you sign in, you can also see your own journey there. We never sell your personal information — see the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
Tap the person icon at the top of the screen, then Delete Account. This removes your account and your data. You can also go to whutnext.com/delete-account.
The app
Is there a WhutNext app?
Yes, for iPhone and Android. Your account works in both places, so sign in on each to keep your progress in sync. Get the app.
